Alphatutors will promote and run Breakfast Activity sessions for your school, extending the quality of ‘Extended Schools’ programmes. Your programme will be designed to suit the specific needs of your school and the children participating in the scheme. Our staff will work actively to increase the numbers attending and develop their skills through our structured and engaging sessions. These sessions can be complemented by our sports specific and lunchtime sessions. .
Our programme of activities and sport can be used to engage children, and provide them with access to fun and educational sessions in a familiar school setting. It enables structured activities and Physical Education to be included in Breakfast Clubs before the school day begins. This coincides with recent initiatives such as ‘Activate’ which has found that regular physical activity has a positive effect on children’s learning throughout the school day. It also enables social skills to be developed with a broader range of children of different ages, developing team building and peer to peer support with links between older and younger children.
As with our in-school provision, a key strength of incorporating our breakfast club sessions to your school day is the effort we make to maintain a two way process in terms of planning and delivering to the needs of each individual school, catering specifically for the needs of the children in your school. This aspect of our teaching will enhance the physical literacy and skills of the pupils in your school, with schemes available to work with small groups, classes or school teams.
Each session will be reviewed and evaluated to allow us to maintain our high standards of delivery, and your feedback will be a key feature in enabling us to maintain a high quality service.
